Jordan Webb

Jordan Webb - HWW

I am a Wiradjuri woman who you may recognise from the front desk! I have been the receptionist for the turtle pod for many years and am now taking on the role of the health and wellbeing worker. I have a keen interest in clinical work and want to expand my skills in this area.  

Jacky Brown

Jacky Brown - Senior Registered Nurse

I am the Senior Registered Nurse at Kalwun Coomera and have been a nurse for 42 years. I have worked for Kalwun going on 9 years, in which time I have developed a deep understanding and close relationship with our clients. I am the nurse within the Turtle pod where providing holistic care for our clients is our main goal. We are a Bale of Turtles all working together to achieve our goals.

Aimee-Lee Wood

Aimee-Lee Wood - Registered Nurse

I am a registered nurse working part-time within the turtle pod. I worked at the Oxenford clinic before our pod days and returned to Coomera after taking a brief break to expand my family. I work closely with my pod team and with Jacky to provide nursing support to our patients on Thursday night clinics and Fridays.

Dr Sinan Allez

Dr Sinan Allez - GP

I am a proud Turtle GP, who was 'Kalwunised' 14 years ago. I have been enjoying working with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in the Gold Coast, that has become an important part of my life. As I have known many of the members of the community for many years, it feels like I have an extended big family. I love to hear their stories and playing some part in their lives and enjoying a cultural exchange with them.

Tyler Shephard

Tyler Shephard - Medical Receptionist

My name is Tyler. I’m a proud Kamilaroi women from Tamworth NSW. I thrive off helping our mob and connecting with them all. I enjoy playing sport such as soccer and futsal. Last year and this year I get the chance to play in the Indigenous Football Championship for the Sunshine Coast Goanna’s, where I will be playing against and alongside some of the most talented football players in Australia. I am outgoing, bubbly and eager to connect and learn more mob. Also a fun fact about me…I love to talk and smile!! I always have a smile on face no matter what time of the day it is.

Bronwyn Stuart

Bronwyn Stuart - HWW

Hi my name is Bronwyn Nakarmarra Stuart I’m a proud Western Central and Eastern Aranda woman from Central Australia and I am passionate about supporting my people. My work and life experience have developed my skills to be able to operate in a kind, friendly manner and build positive rapport with my people and their communities. I've been living on the Gold Coast coming 3 years after spending my time in my community. I believe my empathetic nature and ability to be a good listener would be an asset. My last role as an Aboriginal Liaison Officer was the best feeling ever. And now being here as a Health and Wellbeing Worker is definitely one of my highlights working again with my mob in the community and learning more!

My name is Alarna, I am the Registered Nurse of the Dolphin Pod. I am passionate about helping others and keeping the mob happy and healthy. I look forward to connecting with the community and meeting you at Kalwun Coomera.

Kiralee Taylor

Kiralee Taylor - Medical Receptionist

My name is Kiralee I am a Yamatji and Noongar woman. I work in the Jellyfish POD and love working with my colleagues and our patients in our Pods. I get fulfilment out of working with our mob here at Kalwun and look forward to coming to work with our team.

Jacinta Rix

Jacinta Rix - HWW

My role is one of the Health and Wellbeing Workers in Coomera. I am a proud Kurnai/Gunditjmara woman, supporting and assisting community, ensuring their health needs are being looked after as holistically as possible and culturally appropriate. I have passion when it comes to my culture and I love sharing and teaching that knowledge if need be. It’s important for us and our mob to continue looking after each other in community and our family. I hope to continue to heal, support and make sure we are looking after our health and life to the best we can.

Jodie Gregg

Jodie Gregg - Registered Nurse

Hi, I am of Aboriginal decent, family from Wakaja N.T. I grew up in Darwin and have three adult children that have grown up on the Gold Coast. I am very passionate about my role, I love being so involved in supporting and providing care for my community, being able to follow their journey and empower them throughout that journey. Birin (Jellyfish) are very majestic creatures, don’t fear our tentacles they are welcoming you to our Pod to help provide best care and outcomes for achieving your health goals.

Dr Mrinaal Naiker

Dr Mrinaal Naiker - GP

As a GP I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to work alongside individuals from all walks of life to identify and achieve their health goals. I love getting to know my patients and their families, and am privileged to be a part of the Kalwun Community. I am passionate about providing high quality, thorough healthcare to the community, and have a special interest in women’s and children’s health, mental health and chronic disease management.

Dr Natasha Yates

Dr Natasha Yates - GP

I am working as a GP in the wonderful Jellyfish pod two days a week. I have over 20 years of practical experience in clinical practice, medical education, and research. My interests include antenatal care, paediatrics, women's health, and the management of chronic diseases. I'm passionate about collaborative learning and love the team-based approach in the pod system at Kalwun. I look forward to supporting and empowering my patients to actively participate in their health journey.

Kristelle Cavanagh

Kristelle Cavanagh - Medical Receptionist

My name is Kristelle and I am the receptionist for the Seahorse Pod working closely with the nurse, health and wellbeing worker and GP. I am a proud woman from the Quandamooka people of Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island) where I enjoyed growing up before moving to the Gold Coast. In my free time, I enjoy camping and spending time with friends and family. I am passionate about helping people and glad I can be a part of our patients' health journey. Jade Dale

Jade Dale - Registered Nurse

Hi my name is Jade, the Seahorse nurse. I am a proud Wiradjuri woman, I love continuously learning about culture, myself and my people. I enjoy the triumphs, challenges and the feeling I get helping people as a nurse. I believe that we all learn through stories and sharing experiences, so working with community from diverse backgrounds and experiences helps me grow as a person. I love a good belly laugh and being around good people and my family.

Dr Katrina McLean

Dr Katrina McLean - GP

Hi I’m Kat. I’m originally from Aotearoa (New Zealand) however made the move to Australia with my family over 10 years ago and have settled on the Gold Coast. My role is the GP within the Seahorse pod. I work closely with our Health and Wellbeing Worker, Nurse and Receptionist and collectively we hope to help guide you in your health journey. I am experienced in all aspects of General Practice however have a particular interest in women’s health, antenatal care and paediatrics.
